We would like to introduce you to our latest team member:
Jack comes to us from BC and Alberta Guide and Service Dogs. He was trained to be a PTSD/OSI (Occupational Stress Injury) Service Dog and has now been given a Special Placement at our office. He is 2 years old and will be at our office Monday to Friday and will be there for emotional and therapeutic support. He has been trained in specific tasks to help people regulate when upset.
For anyone who is concerned about allergies, these occur when someone pets the dog and stirs up the dog’s natural dander. If you do not touch the dog or shake up his fur you should be fine as the office is a large and open space.
For anyone who is afraid of dogs, Jack has been trained not to go up to anyone unless he is invited or told. So Jack is a good dog to have around to help ease this fear.
We hope you enjoy this new addition to our team.
